CLASSICAL: Friday Night at the Opera
Leader of our ever popular workshop on opera appreciation, soprano Christine Cullen, presents another exciting evening of arias and scenes from popular operas featuring guest singers soprano Nina Riley and baritone Joseph Flaxman, plus piano accompaniment and commentary by the esteemed Warren George Wilson. Featured works will be excerpts from Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute, plus selected opera arias. This will be a recital with explanations about the operas and works being performed. A very special night at the Puffin!

JAZZ CONCERT: Alex Collins Sextet
Led by Teaneck native piano prodigy Alex Collins, who also leads our monthly Jazz Jam series, this sextet features some of the hottest young musicians in the area. Alex Collins (piano), Darren Barrett (piano), Myron Walden (alto sax), Ralph Bowen (tenor sax), Tom DiCarlo (bass), and Chris Brown (drums).

FAMILY/WORLD MUSIC: Robbi Kumalo & Friends featuring Bakithi Kumalo
A special family event for Father's Day!
Robbi K's concerts are joyous and exhilarating, with a focus on amusing and edifying the entire family, from parents to grandparents, toddlers to teens. Everybody participates with voices, hands, feet and hearts. "Keep the Beat" is multi-lingual world music concert featuring folk songs from around the globe with pulsating energy and interactivity. Robbi tells children’s stories and shares about her travels as a musician, and through call and response, audiences will be singing in 5 different languages. The concert will feature Bakithi Kumalo, bassist on Paul Simon's pathbreaking album, Graceland (1986).
Adults - $10 suggested donation.
Children 10 and up - $5 suggested donation.
Children under 10 are FREE.

Master storytellers drawing from myths, fables, and folktales from around the world. For the whole family. Bring a blanket or lawnchair.
Storyteller will be Julie Della Torre.
