About the event
The Puffin Foundation hosted its second walking tour of the year led by artist Rich Garr. This event took place on May Day (International Workers Day), and was part of both Jane’s Walk NYC 2026 as well as the events taking place as part of Fall of Freedom.
The walk started from our office at 227 5th Avenue in Park Slope, where the exhibit Starling Skies: An Art Show with Trans Youth and Adults is on display as part of the Trans Art Fest. From there, participants meandered south, stopping at several arts and cultural institutions along the way that are sites of creative resistance and activism, as well as beloved community hubs for celebrations and performances. Stops included the Old Stone House, Interference Archive, and Open Source Gallery.
