How to Apply & FAQs
Overview
Our 2026 grant cycles are now closed. We will reopen in September for projects in film/video and theater. Please check back for updates.
From 2/16/26 to 4/13/26, we will be accepting application request forms for environmental artistic activism projects. Completed proposals are due by 5pm EDT on Thursday, 4/30/26. See below for all procedures and deadlines.
If you would like to submit a project proposal (i.e. apply for a grant) via our portal, you will need to mail us a (paper) request form.
Upon receipt and approval of the completed request form, we will create a unique log in for you in our submission portal. An email will be sent to you with instructions.
After logging in to the portal, you will be able to create and submit your grant proposal.

4/30/26, 5:00pm EDT – Deadline for online submission of project proposals
-
Once you have registered in our portal, you can create your project proposal (grant application). Project proposals must be submitted via our portal by 5:00pm EDT on Thursday, April 30, 2026. No submissions will be accepted after this time. Only one proposal may be submitted per person, organization, or project.
-
Please note: Every proposal submitted is carefully read by a small team of reviewers. Therefore, our review process typically takes several months. Applicants should take this into account when considering the timeline of their projects.
