Enchanted Pond

This project focuses on pond ecosystems. Natural ponds support unique wildlife, providing shelter and hosting a variety of plants that only survive in wetlands. It raises awareness about the threat to ponds from pollution, such as trash, chemicals, sewage, and fertilizers.

The concept consists of a tapestry floor installation, composed primarily of repurposed textiles, found objects, wire, and handmade ceramic elements, embellished with beads and held together on a rug mat . The work required approximately 450 hours of labor. Dimensions: 6W x 8L x 1.5H ft.
The installation was exhibited at the Fort Point Arts Community – Art Space in Boston during Earth Month, April 2025.
