Windows Into War (a mother’s lament)

Thanks to the Puffin Foundation, I was able to create a book of my poems and paintings and print it. It is 51 pages.   I have given several presentations of the 20 paintings with their accompanying poems. The theme of windows introduces the perspective views inside (fearful) and outside (hopeful). After taking the viewer through still life, landscape, abstraction and figure, explosive colors of fear, chaos, desolation and despair become softer and approach hope. The succinctness of the poems is an integral part of the visual image leaving thoughts to be gained and little to be misunderstood.
