“Uri L’Tzedek is an Orthodox social justice organization guided by Torah values and dedicated to combating suffering and oppression. Through community-based education, leadership development, and action, Uri L’Tzedek creates discourse, inspires leaders, and empowers the Jewish community towards creating a more just world…Since the inauguration of President Joe Biden, dozens of thousands of individuals have entered the United States through the southern border, searching for a livable and brighter future within this country. Over the last two years, Uri L’Tzedek have been fortunate enough to help over 50,000 of these asylum seekers through direct aid, including fresh clothing, hot meals, tampons/pads for girls and women, diapers for babies, home-stays, and medical triage.”
